Chamber honors Lewis

Nacogdoches County Chamber Chairman Kim Luna Snyder recognized Gordon Lewis, past president of BancorpSouth/Fredonia State Bank, for his contributions to the local business community at a recent breakfast reception at the Chamber office. Several past Chamber chairs joined the current board to honor Lewis.

“With all of his years of service to the Nacogdoches County Chamber, to the banking community and to the community as a whole, we want to show our thanks and appreciation,” Luna said.

Luna presented Gordon – who served as Chamber Chairman in 1994 - with a framed certificate of appreciation in addition to Nacogdoches items that included a signed copy of Archie P. McDonald’s “Nacogdoches, Texas A Pictorial History” and a bottle of sparkling blueberry cider.
