Cowboy Max at Texas Blueberry Festival

Cowboy Max will roam the Texas Blueberry Festival this year, ropin' and wranglin' any blueberries that have strayed from the herd. You'll see his western wit at the Blueberry Pancake Breakfast, in Commercial Bank of Texas lobby at 10:30 am, 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. See the whip-crackin', bull-whippin', wooly-chap-wearin' cowboy at the Texas Blueberry Festival in downtown Nacogdoches on Saturday, June 13.

"I'm a blueberry wrangler from way back," said Cowboy Max. "Why, I remember the golden days of the blueberry drives, where we'd herd those blueberries all the way across the Old West, from Tombstone to Dodge City. There are only three things I like more than being out on the range — I like cookin', and I like eatin', and even more than those two, I like cookin' and eatin' blueberries. And I'll hog-tie anybody who tries to horn-swaggle me out of a blueberry pancake. Yeee haw!"
