Kids Fish 2010 SUCCESS!

This past Saturday, Jan. 30, there were an estimated 150 participants at the 7th annual Kids Fish event. There were nearly 700 rainbow trout released in the pond of Lakeside Park off of Pearl St before the event. About 50 fish were caught all varying in size and color. There were awards given out for two age groups; 8 and under and 9 - 16 years of age. In the 8 and under age group the smallest fish caught weighed .12 pounds, while the largest was .45 pounds. In the 9 - 16 age group the smallest fish weighed .07 pounds while the largest caught came in at .76 pounds. Congratulations and thank you to all the participants who came out and enjoyed the free admission, food and raffle drawings.
