Stock up on easter staples at the market this Saturday

Beginning this weekend Merci's Worldly Cuisine will be serving freshly prepared breakfast and lunch items at the farmer's market.

Join us Saturday at the Nacogdoches Farmer’s Market to stock up on a variety of handcrafted, locally grown items. The Nacogdoches Farmer’s Market is currently open on Saturday mornings and offers fresh produce, unique gifts, and a variety of other delicious items.
This Saturday, April 3, The Old Time Gospel Project (Cele Knight, Robbie, Jon Hall & John Andy Hazelwood) will entertain us with their unique selection of inspirational songs.

Starting this Saturday, April 3, Merci's Worldly Cuisine will be at the Market Every Saturday Catering to Your every Culinary Desire. Breakfast will start at 7 AM and include Eggs Benedict, Biscuits and Gravy, Cinnamon Rolls, Breakfast burritos, Sandwiches and much more. For lunch, different cuisines from around the world will be featured: French Country Cuisine, Irish, Italian, Mexican, Russian, Soul Food, Vegetarian, Tex-Mex, German, Central American and many more. We will also serve BLT Sandwiches, Grilled Cheese, and other traditional favorites. For your sweet tooth we will have a diverse assortment of delicious cookies, cakes and other confections.

Things to look for this Saturday: baked goods (breads, cookies & pies), artisan Texas cheeses, Texas citrus, free-range eggs, tilapia fish, flowers, honey, jewelry, plants, starter plants, preserves and local produce: asparagus, potatoes, butternut squash & sweet potatoes, greens (collard, kale, mustard, Swiss chard & turnip), lettuce (butter crunch, red & romaine), green onions, sugar snap peas. Look for strawberries soon.

The Nacogdoches Farmers’ Market, located at the “hitch lot” at the corner of West Main and Pearl Streets, is open from 8 a.m. until noon or later every Saturday morning. If the market parking lot is full, additional parking is available in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse Annex parking lot.
