Eleven-pounder at Lake Nacogdoches
Doug James with Executive Guide Service caught a 25-inch, 11-pound bass on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Lake Nacogdoches. He caught it on soft plastics in deep water.

Doug reports that he can't reveal the exact bait, but suffice it to say that "deep water, soft plastics" means he might be using a Carolina rig. He says his secret is "being on the water" every week, learning the seasonal changes of the lake and just being familiar with the underwater topography and what the fish might be doing.
