The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce congratulates the winners of the 2007 Treasure Hunt, an event produced by the SFA-Chamber Connection Committee. Treasure Hunt introduces SFA students to local businesses’ products and services. Students visit participating businesses marked on the treasure map. Once the required number of businesses is visited, students turn in the maps for prize drawings. Forty-two businesses participated in 2007.
The 2007 major prize winners are Sarah Reid, winner of a Nintendo Wii game system and Wii game donated by DCI Biologicals; Amberle Leach, winner of a $250 scholarship donated by SFA Alumni Association; Morgan Swindle, winner of an iPod Stereo donated by Etech, Inc.; Mary Davis, winner of a tailgating package donated by BancorpSouth; Elissa Spradlin, winner of a $100 savings bond donated by Austin Bank; and Adrianna Daniels, winner of a $50 savings bond and an SFA fan pack donated by Commercial Bank of Texas. Additional donated prizes totaling $1,500 were also awarded to SFA treasure hunting students.
